How to Beat The Looking Glass Knight

The Looking Glass Knight, also known as Mirror Knight is found on the Kings Passage. He is a primarily melee focused character, but he will use spells if you are far enough way. He carries a large Mirror Shield which deflects magic, causing spells to shoot off in random directions. He can also slam this shield into the ground, summoning other players and NPCs to fight for him.
WEAKNESSES
The knight takes additional damage fromMagic andLightning, but Dark is his weakness. He seems resistant to toxic, taking three toxic mists to be poisoned.
Melee Characters
There is a summon sign just outside of the fog door before this fight.
Benhart of Jugo can be summoned to give assistance against the
boss.
Going into this fight, players should have a 100% block shield, and be prepared to evade like crazy, so ideally you will be in very light gear. Melee characters will want to stay near him as often as they can. This will encourage him to use his melee attacks, as opposed to the magic spells he likes. His combos are similar to that of most other knights in the game, so wait for his combo attacks to end, then swipe your weapon 1-2 times.
The big mechanic that you must deal with during this fight is that he will slam down his shield and summon a phantom from within it. This can be easily combated if you stand about 10 feet in front of the shield. The phantom will come jumping out and will need to stand up, in this time you can take down 25-50% of its health, giving you a big advantage in the overall fight. Once the phantom becomes active, he should be your primary target until dead, but make sure not to lose sight of the Knight, as he might try slinging s spell, or lunging towards you.
Ranged Characters

Mages and archers will have it slightly easier in this fight. He has one main gap closing attack, where he leaps towards you. This is easily dodged, and leaves him open for 2-3 seconds, allowing you to slam him with spells. His other means of ranged attack is magic, so bring a high magic block shield, or simply time your dodges to evade it and the fight will not be an issue, for the most part.
When he summons the phantom, there is a good chance it will be a melee phantom, so you have to be very cautious as the phantom will constantly be on you even if the main boss is standing further away. Bringing a small weapon to deal with the phantom is wise, or make sure you have extra magic spells ready to dispatch him. Miracles will work best here, as the Knight is weak to lightning, however basic magic will also get the job done.
